Butterscotch
03:01
|
|||
He starts his day like any other
But this time from the underside of a massive fallen oak tree
His first thought, of course, sustenance.
It’s one he’s used to. One he has to put on hold.
Passers by appear as he finds his next location.
No attempt to socialize, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s tried.
Momentary serenity is found sprawled out on the soft grass in the warm sun.
But passers by turn into enemies as he’s forced to leave
Finally, a familiar place, through a window, through a door are familiar faces.
He glances, they glance back.
They are wary, as always, but provide even the slightest comfort to one displaced from a traditional home.
Moving on, feeling somewhat pleased.
To the empty lot he can see every galaxy, and drift to sleep.

Hearts of Colorado

Our heart’s in Colorado
It’s time for school
Dreaming unlike I have been
The world’s more clear
Tape shop
Betrayal
Reset password, with no luck
Make up
A broken heart- that seems so tough
A flat line’s cool
Get a job, at least for once
Feel like a fool

Remnants
05:10
|
|||
Flee now, and sing
Leave as I came
Remnants of my
Home will be saved
In my mind
Still I cry
On the inside
It’s how they raise all their boys
Inner peace
When I leave, will it cease?
These doubts; asinine!
I believe I’ll find my peace
In my mind
Still I cry
On the inside
It’s how they raise all their boys
Remnants of
Joyful times
Drunken days
Average times
Dejected nights
Tender times
Remnants of
Every memory
